How To Juggle With Scarves

Juggling with scarves is one of the easiest ways for people to learn how to juggle.

For most people, if you ever learned from someone in the past it was most likely with scarves. The process is all around learning to make a good release with the scarf. You want to look at a spot that is just above your head and also just over your shoulder.

To start off, you’re going to start with your right hand and bring the scarf up over your left shoulder and release. The scarf will fall down directly towards your hands and you’ll catch the scarf as it falls. After that, you do the same thing with your left hand.

You bring the scarf in your left hand up and over your right shoulder and release. You’ll then catch it with your right hand.

Seem easy? Good.

Time to move onto juggling 2 scarves. When you are juggling 2 scarves, you’ll start with your right hand and bring the scarf up over your left shoulder and release.

When you release the first scarf with your right hand, you’ll bring your left hand up over your right shoulder and release the scarf there. As soon as you release the left-hand scarf, you’ll grab the scarf that was released by the right-hand. This is a little weird to write out, which is why the video helps so much to visually see.

The right hand will then grab the scarf that was released at the top of the pattern by your left-hand. The pattern is identical to what you were doing with practicing 1 scarf juggling.

Once you get comfortable with juggling 2 scarves this way, it’s time to move onto juggling 3 scarves. The process is exactly the same here. You’ll start with 2 scarves in your right-hand, and one in your left. You’ll bring your right hand over your left shoulder and release the first scarf.

After that, you’ll bring your left hand up over your right shoulder and release it. Then, you do the same thing with your right hand over your left shoulder.

At this stage, you’ll see that the pattern is the same as two scarves. All you need to do now is continue to do that. Once you get comfortable with this, it’s just a repetition of that pattern. Right hand, left hand, right hand, etc.
