What Are The Best Juggling Balls

I bought and juggled with a bunch of the top juggling balls on Amazon so you don’t have to. This is my review of them. I was not paid for any of the reviews, I bought them myself so that I could share my thoughts after being a juggler for over 26 years. In my opinion, the best juggling balls are the Higgins Brothers set that is sold here. If you want to see why and learn about other juggling balls, keep reading.

So let’s get started…

So what are the best juggling balls?

I’m going to be sharing a few different thoughts and videos about each ball so you can choose the right juggling ball for you or your kids. A few of the things that I’ll be sharing are the feel of the seams, the weights, and shapes, what kind of material they are made of, and what’s inside them.

One of the most important things I’ll be sharing is how far the ball will roll when dropped. You don’t want to be juggling and constantly having to chase the ball around the house and pick it out from under the couch or bed.

To say I’ve juggled a lot of different juggling balls is an understatement… I started juggling at 8 years old and did it for birthday parties, went to events, and even juggled for a bunch of school events… like the Cat In The Hat event on the right in the picture below…

Price: $27.99
Size: 2.5 inches or 63.5mm
Weight: 130grams

My thoughts: these have been my “go-to” juggling ball for a few years. They are a little heavier than most of the other balls, but the quality is A+.

Second Best Rated:

Zeekio Taylor Tries Juggling Balls

Price: $19.99
Size: 2.55 inches or 65mm
Weight: 110grams
Material outside: high-quality synthetic leather
Material inside:
Design: 6-panel design
My thoughts: these are fun. They kind of look like little soccer balls to me. They have a very quality feel and aren’t too heavy. I think these would be a pretty good size for juggling 5, 6 or 7 balls.

Third Best Rated:

SPEEVERS Juggling Balls Review

Price: $29.99
Size: 2.44 inches or 62mm
Weight: 119 grams
Material outside: double layer of net/mesh
Material inside: plastic needs
Design: 4-panel design
My thoughts: I like these quite a bit. One of my favorite parts is definitely that they can get wet and not be ruined. I took these out to the beach and felt fine with them getting wet/sandy because they can be washed out.

Fourth Rated:

ZEEKIO Josh Horton Juggling Balls Review

Click Here to Buy the Zeekio Juggling Balls Josh Horton Pro Series

Price: $25.99
Size: 2.64 inches or 67mm
Weight: 128grams
Material outside: Leather
Material inside: plastic
Design: 12 pentagon-shaped panels
My thoughts: I really wanted to like these. They look great. The problem is how hard they are though. It’s kind of distracting how hard they are. It kind of seems like they overpacked the balls to make them look better out of the box.

TSKX Juggling Balls for Beginners Review

Click Here to Buy Juggling Balls for Beginners to Professionals by TSKX

Price: $16.95
Size: 2.5 inches or 55mm
Weight: 90 grams or 3.2 oz
Material outside: durable and soft PU leather
Material inside: “special micro-bread” (I’m not sure what this means) I think they mean bead. So it’s most likely plastic beads.
Design: 6-panel design
My thoughts: These aren’t bad for the price point, but there is one issue with the seams. The seams on these stand out to me. While you are juggling them, when you catch them, you feel the seams more than you do on other balls. It can be a little distracting. Two of the balls weigh 3.3 ounces, the other is 3.2 ounces.

Duncan Juggling Ball Review

Price: $13.89
Size: 2.25 inches or 57mm
Weight: 86 grams or 3 oz
Material outside: vinyl shells
Material inside: plastic beans
Design: 4-panel design
My thoughts: they feel cheap, but they are cheap. The weight of all the balls is different, one is 85 grams, another 86 grams and the last is 89 grams. The shape of them is different too. It’s as if they came out of a different machine. When I bought them in 2019 they cost $7.68 and they currently sell for $13.89. The seams on each ball stick out quite a bit too so with a lot of use they will rip open. I see on Amazon reviews many people have complained about the white beads inside coming out because they seams ripped.

Set of 3 Juggling Balls 8 Panel 2.5″ Mesh Bag Included Synthetic Leather (Multicolor)
Price: $15.99
Size: 2.5 inches or 63.5mm
Weight:
Material outside: synthetic leather
Material inside: not sure, it’s not listed. Waiting on more information from the distributor
Design: 8-panel design
My thoughts: They’re alright. They aren’t anything super special, but they are a good ball for the price point. They do seem to pancake a bit when you catch them though, which most people probably wouldn’t notice.

Lowest Rated:

US Games 3″ Juggling Ball (3-Pack)

Price: $8.99
Size: 3 inches or 76.2 mm
Weight: 181 grams
Material outside: vinyl
Material inside: none, air-filled
Design: solid vinyl, hard to the feel
My thoughts: to be honest, they feel very “clown-like”. They aren’t bouncy enough to be used for bounce juggling. I tried to bounce juggle them and was able to do a few throws but they don’t bounce high enough to be practical. Also, when you are juggling them just normally, if they hit one another they bounce pretty far apart. I don’t think these would be good for beginners. If you are just adding a little juggling to a clown routine or a magic routine, these might be good because of their solid colors and size. But I do not like these.
